Noddy! We're counting on you for some reports.
Like, did Jimmy train in a teflon coated glove, or was he unimpeded?
Barrack hard for us Noddy, we'll need it.

Re: captains run
Jimmy didnt have any thing on his hands. Hickey trained even though he isnt named. Jack Stevens goes flat out at every thing he does .Mavs haircut is a shocker. It was mighty cold standing watching. Gilbo called me mad cos i always wear sandals I got everyones signature on my 2017 members cap except Rooey. We havent won here against the morons since 2009. Crow media think its a walkover. I just hope we show these upstart ******&^% that we are the next big thing. Go The Mighty Saints. And those that know me know that i barrack extremely hard and loud

I notice you said Stuv is flat out, and next was just "Mav's haircut"
this is a point of contrast, Stuv works hard, Mav does sweet FA and is just an attention-hungry showpony.
Mav needs to lose that crapfest distraction of "Mav's World" and get back to the angry gorilla mindset

that's about it.
Newnes- needs to harden up
Bwoose- keep him in the VFL till he becomes the Bwoose of 2015
Weller- as above, till he revisits the angry gorilla
Geary- the less said about him, the better.

Re: captains run
Richmond Oval!!
The industrial buildings on the Marion Road side and the Footballer's Club on the Milner Road side
Plus the storm water drain at the Henley Beach Road end Any balls lost?
God forsaking venue even when you won there
And when you played cricket there you just could not find the boundaries - the ball just stopped in the outfield
Had to run everything
It would have been an experience for the Saints players
And with the ghost of the former Dimboola boy, Doug Thomas who ran the place for a generation no doubt still there!
Mind you a couple of West Adelaide players made the right move an headed to The Parade

Too hard to please?
One premiership 51 years ago - and counting
The way you fix that is to be too hard to please and to mark the ability to perform accordingly
Until then we keep counting

Re: captains run
Just to add, I trust they did not have to shower in the opposition room - well, dog box under the Stand actually, because Thomas always saw to it the showers were cold!
Miserable place
Then they wondered why we did not hang around afterwards!!

Re: captains run
Not any more, it's an excellent ground. They played some afl pre season game there a few years ago and pumped some good money into the ground. It's one of the best surfaces in the state now, good dimensions, afl standard posts, quality lighting etc...it's a high quality ground!! fwiwTo the top wrote:Richmond Oval!!

And if it's under 27 degrees, they go to the beach in a suit and dress shoes. Saw it with my own eye on Brighton Beach!!!
