Meatball...
he has trouble stringing together a few senior games.
Savage had good output- 21 disposals, sadly only 9 were kicks, which is his forte.
But Jimmy coming back, means down to the Zebs?
They couldn't keep him in at all?

Why can't they field a team?

To say we need someone who plays like Freeman is an understatement...
We need him to come good desperately.
Most important bloke on our list atm.

Things just aren't feeling right at the club at the moment. The last 3 Saints games have obviously been diabolical and the Zebras haven't been the same team lately either..

Re: VFL Rd 8 -Sandringham vs Williamstown
So the seniors get molested
And Zebs also get beaten.
With the numbers from Meatball and Lonie,
I suggest all the players are just being ball-hungry and not doing the 1% stuff,
just want to be greedy so our coach KWT* says "promote them again"
When I was playing ammos, languishing in the B Grade team, we used to get belted regularly
because the fringe players did none of the team things, they just wanted to kick goals and get possies.
No shepherds, no tackles, they put themselves in the best spots to run free and look flashy.
Is that what Meatball is doing?
Is that why he struggles under the intense gaze of Richo when 25 cameras can capture every move he makes?
And there's a phalanx of nerds near KWT on MacBooks feeding him stats
"Gresh had 25 pressure points that qtr, and the GPS- sprinted 1.5 km at 95% intensity"
With the Zebs, you just have 3 men and a dog watching the game, Gilbee is the one making the call.

And Willy are one of the few stand alone teams left....bit of a worry that our reserves are losing regularly too.

Savage and DMack, 13 disposals each.
Not a good sign for either bloke, sadly.
Hope they can improve next game
