Filth Move Above Us on the Ladder - WTF?!
What a truckload of fertiliser! They were languishing in the cellar not long ago. Can't believe they now have a superior percentage to us. With the Saints not even playing, this just caps off a rubbish weekend of football. Both W.A. teams are absolute pretenders and have ruined my tipping for this round. Not happy, Jan!

As disturbing as it is they may stay there having a slightly better run home with two probable and a couple of possible wins to come. Our run looks like one probable and also a couple of possibles alongside a couple of hidings although in saying this I really hope I am wrong.

The silver lining is that we need them to finish above Hawthorn. That looks likely. If they finish above us we don't deserve to play finals.

They lost Elliott to injury again, so I'm not expecting them to do much again for this season, and I think Wells' did something to his legs that game.

Re: Filth Move Above Us on the Ladder - WTF?!
I actually want us to lose most of our games from here on in.
A shake-up is in order, because this silly tactic of bombing into the F50 and hoping for a crumber,
is how the Under-10's play.
I thought the club was professional.
We keep losing, and they will realise that either the tactics or the forwards are wrong/
The club might just chase a KPP full forward to help Paddy while he's still learning.
Bwoose was good in 2015, but I see him wearing #40 in the Zebs until he retires. He might be in the leadership group,
but he's never getting back to best 22.
Change of tactics might help Skunk.
So I'm predicting we get belted by Crows by 14 goals, then Norf, Tigers, and Port, and Sydney by at least 8 goals each time.
The Suns and Dockers games might be close.
Bombers are better than us- loss
Eagles + Demons- 5-7 goal loss.
Will drop well down, then the club will be forced to face reality
and grab some real guns with all that money and the Hawks' Pick.
No, I'm not citywest in disguise, I am being realistic

They may look tough from where we are now. They didn't look anywhere near as tough when we were 5-3. Form can change quickly, especially this year. I'm still backing us to win 12. Whether that's enough remains to be seen.

Bwoose is impotent (in the sense that he can't compete and has little impact)
Membrey has little impact unless the team is on fire, and he always gets an elite defender which makes it tough
Paddy is still learning the gig.
We can count on Gresh for 2-3 freakish goals per game, but we need a lot more scoring options
(Billings was brilliant against Carlscum, but I don't see him being a constant source of goals).
So, from where will our goals be coming from?

Re: Filth Move Above Us on the Ladder - WTF?!
The OP message does that mean Buckley is a better coach than Richardson? SAINTS have gone backwards this year and Richo's game plan has been pulled apart by the better prepared sides which has seen the same poor results. I suppose we did beat Collingwood at least, shouldnt expect too much after all we are St Kilda!

I would suggest that the Filth do not buy into Buckley's vision, and therefore don't do what he wants.Impatient Sainter wrote:The OP message does that mean Buckley is a better coach than Richardson? If they believed in him and were behind him, we'd get a better idea of his coaching skills.
Conversely, I think our guys are 100% behind Richo, they believe him, but the game plan sucks badly.

Re: Filth Move Above Us on the Ladder - WTF?!
Form turns. The three forwards mentioned are not at their best, but it only takes one game to turn it around. They can't possibly continue to be as bad as they have been the last couple of weeks. Or can they? I know I'm clutching at straws a bit here, but even though I think we'll be beaten on Friday night, at our best we can still chalk up another seven wins for the year.WellardSaint wrote:Rooey is not playing this Friday.White Winmar wrote:They may look tough from where we are now.
