Re: Saints v blues match thread
Completely breaking down across half forward with Dasher, Weller and Gresh all having stinkers so far.
I said it pre-game and I'll say it now, Weller should not be treated as a lock... he was playing like a rockstar pre-injury and playing one good game in what amounted to a training drill vs Hawthorn shouldn't have earned him any points.
Wright played like a man desperate to impact every contest and he would be handy. Weller is playing like a man who is waiting for his team mates to win the game so he can try hit the highlights reel for a few easy goals

Roo looks like the same old roo , he is doing ok , amazing how he can be singled out when we are struggling..guess it shows how much we rely on him.

I reckon Paddy would be handy today... has a knack for at least bringing the ball to ground... something the forwards have struggled with today though the delivery has been poor

What do ppl think of Gilbert's game...
Quite a few bad errors so far but I feel like we'd be worse off without his attack of the contest...

Delivery inside 50 has been a massive problem for us for ages now. Moving the ball fast tears teams apart but if it makes our last kick terrible maybe we need to slow it up a fraction.skeptic wrote:I reckon Paddy would be handy today... has a knack for at least bringing the ball to ground... something the forwards have struggled with today though the delivery has been poor

I'd expect more from Weller than most of the others
