Need to put Carlscum into their box
Especially SOS of SOS and Glenn Seton (the hyphen bloke).
Carlscum are getting ahead of themselves. They are a development side and are due for punishment. The pricks deserve it and we need to deliver it to them.

If we are fairdinkum, we should account for them by at least 10 goals!!!!!saintspremiers wrote:Especially SOS of SOS and Glenn Seton (the hyphen bloke).

Just like last year when they were coming off back to back wins and sitting out of place on the ladder. They actually went in favourites.

I think we were missing a lot that day. I think we had to make about 5 changes to replace Roo, McCartin, Goddard, Dempster, and Fisher.Beno88 wrote:Just like last year when they were coming off back to back wins and sitting out of place on the ladder. They actually went in favourites.
I loved how they turned up in droves smelling an easy kill and we stuffed them.

Re: Need to put Carlscum into their box
yeah i would expect a 10 goal win here.
the blues go ok for a young side at the g and yes they have their tails up but they are crap and should get found out - probably early in the first qtr.

Re: Need to put Carlscum into their box
I'll be happy with a win… interesting few weeks ahead - The dogs have 2 tough games in WCE and Geelong both away before we play them in round 10.
If we have improved on last year we really should beat Carlton & Sydney, which would make round 10 pretty interesting, eyeing off a top 4 spot and looking to get ahead of at least one of WCE, Geelong & Dogs.
One. Week. at a time though.

Yes one week at a time in this case. Swans have been getting some of their players back of late and so I will be watching how they go against North.dragit wrote:I'll be happy with a win… interesting few weeks ahead - The dogs have 2 tough games in WCE and Geelong both away before we play them in round 10.

The Blues after doing everything wrong for many years have actually drafted and traded quite well the last two periods and with a development coach in Bolton they are now heading in the right direction (Which from a Saints perspective is the wrong direction! ).

Geez SP, I really hope your not jinxing us! You should be stating that we are going to lose. Every time you do that we win!saintspremiers wrote:Especially SOS of SOS and Glenn Seton (the hyphen bloke).

THIS game is the third of your infamous: "we will lose three in a row" post I for one am hoping that it's NOT "3rd time lucky (?!?!)" for your skewed predictions.

Hey twirlyhair; don't worry, the Saints CAN win games, in spite of "support" like that of SP

Re: Need to put Carlscum into their box
Bolton comes out of that Clarkson structured Hawks gameplan where they like to keep possession to conserve energy and work it up the field. So will be an interesting clash against our more manic pressuring style where we like to move it quick but a bit haphazardly. Blues will try to absorb our attacks early without conceding a lot and then try to keep the ball off us and let us run ourselves ragged. REally need a big game from Dunstan to be an enforcer inside without STevens or ARmo.

Re: Need to put Carlscum into their box
Yep, I'm worried about the Blues. We need to make the most of our early chances. One or both of Bruce and Membrey need to grab a bag of goals. Ideally, we can get ahead by a few goals and make the Blues drop their preferred passive aggressive style of play.Bluthy wrote:Bolton comes out of that Clarkson structured Hawks gameplan where they like to keep possession to conserve energy and work it up the field. At least the Blues don't look particularly quick: well, at least, they don't play like they are. On paper and on form we are significantly better than them. But they are a bit of a threat.

and their pressure game is apparent,
and "we just have to counter that and bring our own pressure"
or words to that effect. So as long as the fellas don't rock up expecting an easy game, they should win by 10 goals

Re: Need to put Carlscum into their box
What a great game that was! I'd forgotten how popular they were... the streets of the city were packed with the arrogant tossbags. And to watch their grubby little hearts break, at the first game half of them had been at since 1999, was sensational.Beno88 wrote:Just like last year when they were coming off back to back wins and sitting out of place on the ladder. As an aside, Now that the wound of losing Hamil to us has probably almost healed I'd love to take that Cripps off their hands...

Nothing would thrill me more than to give this mob an absolute Royal pasting tomorrow. However, we underestimate them at our peril. They have several useful players in their midfield, and Kreuzer played very well against the Magpies last week.

It would be devastating to lose to this sub-human scum.
If there is one team in the comp that we need to seek revenge against it is this corrupt morally bankrupt mob.
Don't be fooled into mercy by their 18 years of mediocrity, they are still worth hating.
Let's grind them into the dirt.

Re: Need to put Carlscum into their box
Last saturday I went along to the MCG with my ( Collingwood-supporting ) almost-ten year old grandson. We had great seats on level four of the Olympic Stand, and despite the cool conditions, were enjoying our fish'n'chips and just taking in the pre-game build-up. THEN, 5 foul-mouthed, drunken, carlscum louts came and sat behind us. Folks, they were beyond obnoxious! I'm no angel by any means, but their language and aggressive manner compelled me to just up stumps and move to the Ponsford Stand where the Collingwood supporters sit. I never thought I'd live to see the day that I'd be happy sitting with Colondud supporters! SO, for the misery and discomfort that these morons inflicted upon an old man and his grandson, I hope the Saints PASTE carlscum! incidentally, tomorrow my grandson will be wearing his Saints guernsey and will be barracking for US! We are working hard to bring him back from the dark side!

I think Carrrrrlton were rapt with our "ins" for this week.
Some on here though, didn't share Carrrrrlton's rapture.

The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?
