McCartins is a good footballer
But
Body language, intensity, second efforts and clean hands are a huge question mark
Not impressive at all in this game
Bailey Rice has been super

because those question marks look insurmountable for a tall forward in 2017

Paddy very impressive this game. They are just not quite sticking. When they do - look out
Re: VFL Rd 4- Sandringham vs Nth Ballarat- TV game
Goddard looks like he's running in quick sand... He's going to need a few games, but he is slow!
Paddy has a huge size advantage... his opponent has done a great job

When Sandy have linked up they have looked great. Just haven't done it enough today. Ricey scores a goal. That should be it.

BAILEY RICE
Has been very good all day and of all the St Kilda players playing today he has shone out as the best, and the one most deserving of playing seniors.
Unfortunately for Bailiey, Geary has his position in the seniors!
Savage has been good all day.
Lonie has won a lot of ball, but basically wastes it. While Rice has poise in spades Lonie has none and just always looks manic and haphazard.
Marshall. What not to like fora big guy? Moves and marks very well. Is agile and knows how to slot goals. Certainly looks capable of playing seniors eventually.
The Irish Lads. When you consider both are playing at VFL First Level, both are progressing exceedingly well and do not look at all out of place.
DMak. Probably the best I have seen him play this season.
Freeman. Looks fit. Was busy all day without being exceptional. Used the ball well and so promising signs. should hopefully be on the up and up from hereon.
Dunstan. Busy all day without being exceptional.
Long. Better in the second half. Looked ok but needs to be in the play more.
Paddy. Got in the right position most of the day, and was very busy. But was not McClunk today and should have taken more marks.
