Do you think skillful, great kicking players stack up at the highest level as demonstrated tonight? But hey, lets let White and Rice rot in the VFL. So clever match comittee. YOu are really keeping up with trends. Lets keep pumping games into those honest triers. They will defintely get us a flag against these incredibly talented, skillful teams who can ACTUALLY KEEP THE BALL

Re: Are you watching this game??
What what you trade for him? Tell you what, what would you trade for Toby Greene? I saw a player tonight that's possibly going to be the next Leigh Matthews and it certainly wasn't the bloody Bont. Josh Kelly goes better than the bloody Bont as well. I'd prefer either one of the GWS fellas and Kelly's really gettable. Not to mention precisely what our list needs.SemperFidelis wrote:I've been sitting here wondering what the doggies would need to trade the Bont. He's been brilliant. No doubt he's untouchable, even for two first rounds and a player (or two) ... Friday night dreaming ...

Let's hope it's a wet scrap like last night that's what kept it close plus the usual ride the umpires give the Dogs.

Bont was spectacular up to 3/4 time. I agree I'd take Kelly in a heartbeat.Linton Lodger wrote:What what you trade for him? Tell you what, what would you trade for Toby Greene? Wouldn't give a half packet of chips for Greene. Yes, he's emerging as a superstar, but at the
moment I would prefer one who can stay on the park. Too much downside IMO. Kelly a no brainer by comparison.

That GWS theme song is absolutely hilarious.
It sounds like some Russian marching song.
It was funny to watch the players attempt to sing it at the end and the look of relief on their faces when it finished.

Last night the Dog's 5 best players in order:
Pick 46.
Pick 4
Pick 6
Rookie Pick 22
Pick 49 Father/Son
Sums it up. They have nailed their picks throughout the draft and have had some good father/son pick-ups.

Re: Are you watching this game??
Kelly will fit beautifully into the Saints team, I noticed his kicks in the second half (I only watched after half time) DID NOT hit their intended target. I only saw one hit a target, a little chip kick when he wasn't under pressure. So if Saints go after him, on that performance, he won't solve our poor kicking skills.suss wrote:GWS will get better, that's the frightening bit. We need to take Kelly off their hands to bring them back to Earth.
Gee I love watching Cameron play, he IMO is the next Nick Riewoldt. His endurance is right up there , his leading patterns similar, and his fearless marking, remind me of Roo at that age - plus he is a total ball player, and has no concern for his safety when he flies in back into a pack to take a mark on his chest- so Roo like. Now he is one p,Ayer I'd like to get from GWS, pity they locked him away.

I'm quite probably on my own here......
...but I hate watching the Bulldogs play.
Watching 18 players stand in the D50 then sprint forward isn't the type of footy I like. In fact I despise it. Boring as batshit if you ask me.

Re: Are you watching this game??
Last night wasn't his best game. A couple weeks ago, i watched him weave through congestion out of a stoppage against north and then hit up a target with a kick 30 metres away. He also kicked like 3 goals in one game this year. He's pretty good inside and out. But realistically, there's not much reason he would pick us over north or GWS.loris wrote:Kelly will fit beautifully into the Saints team, I noticed his kicks in the second half (I only watched after half time) DID NOT hit their intended target. Agree about Cameron though, love watching him play. Very mobile for a big man

doggies lost GWS remain supreme, means bugger all to our 2017 as we're still a mile off it. Cats showed us that last week.MC Gusto wrote:GWS are unbelievable and the doggies are winning???!!
