As a BFer who stalks here, let me assure you: P66 has no friends there either. The only reason any of us would vote for him to be reinstated here, would be so he hopefully leaves us alone (I haven't voted btw - not my place). Most of us wouldn't vote for him to stay, or slow down if we saw him walking across the street.saynta wrote:I was here years before stinger, troll.saintspremiers wrote:Utter rubbish stinger.saynta wrote:Hardly. Unforgiveable imho.
Us chooks had nothing to do with it.
This thread was started by a poster who was trying to troll the forum, and in the process stir s***.
I started the thread to gauge how others thought about plugsie.
YOU, my friend, are one of the biggest shitstirrers this forum has ever had, simply changing your Nic can't hide that fact. Doesn't mean I don't want you on here - far from it!
Don't take my word for it go back to the 90's and the earlier forums.Anyway, this thread is plainly designed to troll and cause dissension , which is what it is now doing.
It is not the first time you have started such a thread.
What is it now? Three or four times?
Anyway you have your answer.
3/4 of the forum don't want a bar of him. Now dropped to about 2/3rds after plugga and his mates over at big footy started answering the poll.
Keep calling me stinger and I will start reporting your posts.
For the record, I am not your friend.

You would be happy for a person to be run over because they say crap on a footy forum. Probably more about you than the other nobody.

Re: POLL: should plugger be reinstated?
Okay, okay. It appears that my jibe about running him over was taken way, WAY, WAAAAAAAY more seriously than I would ever have intended it to be. Plugger has read that comment, while he still stalks this board, and this particular thread.
May I categorically state that I was only joking, and obviously would never willingly run anybody over. I can understand however, how that could be hurtful - as, I suspect this thread, and the poll results have been hurtful - to said P66. So for hurting your feelings, Plugs, let me publicly apologise. And since you PM'd me over at BF because of my remark, I can only assume that you'll read my public apology here.

Appreciate your reasoning.
Plugger was a very different poster to all others. What sets him apart from others who have been booted
is his knowledge and sheer volume of posts. Many aspects of his work has left a gaping hole in this forum that can't be replaced.

We also haven't been able to replace the number of ppl that have left because of the man and his sheer volume of posts... quality not quantity. Heck by that logic bring Axl back if you want volume.saintspremiers wrote:Thanks.BackFromUSA wrote:Don't care about 'traffic'.markp wrote:This is truly pathetic.

I don't disagree that plugger had an opinion worth reading... but he seldom spoke about footy and the Saints.

Ripplug66 banned for outrageous and unjustifiable (and fully documented) abuse of a moderator after receiving a mere warning for breaching the rules. This decision is final. Any reincarnation of this person will be banned as well. This is a total and final ban.
This 'poll' and thread serves no purpose other than yet another cheap opportunity to sink the boots in.

Did Simon ever say he will consider reinstating plugs?
I differ in opinion to Simon and would like plugs back and that's the discussion

He's not coming back. The poll and thread serve no reasonable purpose.
People are predictably using it as a chance to take cracks at him, he's not here to defend himself, but he's evidently reading it and is upset by it. It's entirely pointless (and really sad).
Don't know how that equates to a 'valid' discussion.

Interesting I thought he would enjoy this thread, but good point about not being around to defend himself. I would vote to lock this thread too. It's not going to go anywhere positive.

Neither are Trump, Rita or Hird for that matter.
But they have one thing in common.
None of them are forum members and hence fair game in my opinion.
I agree with you that this thread was never going to go anywhere but down hill. Just like the two or three other similar threads on reinstating plugga.

Why can't Plugger just get a new user name and bounce back on here like some others who have changed usernames. Then again perhaps he can't be bothered.

Re: POLL: should plugger be reinstated?
I actually enjoyed reading some of his posts, particularly when he gave some insight based on dealings he'd had with people. I never had a run in with him though, so my feelings aren't affected by anything personal. Every time I came on here though he seemed to be arguing with someone.
