The redevelopment will be the first ever facility in Australia that caters to the full spectrum of the Australian Rules Football talent pathway, from Auskick to AFL; with match, training and administration facilities for St Kilda Football Club, Southern Football Netball League, South Metro Junior Football League, AFL Victoria and Sandringham Dragons.
Demolition works on the current site at Moorabbin are due to commence in March 2017, and construction will be completed in two stages.
It is anticipated that Stage 1, which includes the north wing, will be completed in the 2018 pre-season, while Stage 2 (south wing) will be completed in September/October 2018.

And I'll be moving in as soon as it's done. Always been the dream to live next to the heartland. Grew up there, now coming home. Full circle. Am I coming across as a tad obsessed ?
I started with nothing and I've got most of it left!

Yeah I grew up in St kilda, moved to Moorabbin and used to walk to the ground, now I'm walking distance to Seaford. just have to figure how to get back to Moorabbin
Seems ridiculous that the council were opposed to us moving our pokies to the corner of Linton St and South Rd but they're ok with that going up.
It could be good business for our pokies, amongst other things, club events etc. Unfortunately the backyard is disappearing all across Melbourne, moving up instead of out. The property market is out of control

Well you need to add stripes to be obsessed or it doesn't count

We did the opposite move 2 years ago (Frankston to Bentleigh). Timed it perfectly with the saints announcement, deliberate of course
