Cheer Squad
Hey! Is anyone in the cheer squad? I haven't got the time to join the cheer squad at this point in my life however, I was thinking about producing some of those huge flags a lot of other cheer squads now have. I'm thinking... maybe a huge St Kilda emblem, a huge saints cross and a huge 3 panelled red, white and black flag? Any other suggestions?
Is that something you'd get in contact with the club about? I'm happy to pony up the cash and donate them to the cheer squad... if the folks in the squad are happy to wave them. Anyone know of anyone if the cheer squad?

Re: Cheer Squad
Back in the early 90's the cheer squad had some really kick arse flags... Sometimes I wonder what happened to them.

Re: Cheer Squad
Sounds like a great idea.
While you're at it, give them some new slogans to replace their worn out repertoire.
Just don't give them another one that sounds like the other ones!
I also wonder what happened to those long fence banners they had in the 60s/70s that ran over 100 metres along the fence before the VFL sold out to the advertisers.
They were fantastic.

The rest of Australia can wander mask-free, socialise, eat out, no curfews, no zoning, no police rings of steel, no illogical inconsistent rules.
They can even WATCH LIVE FOOTY!

Re: Cheer Squad
I loved the big checkered flags when I was in the cheer squad as a kid. A three panel with the club crest or stick man in white centre panel would be sweet.

"Excuse me, do you have a council issued flag waving permit for that over-sized novelty flag, as stated in statute 378 of Victoria's flag waving laws and regulations sir?" "No? Oh ok.. well unfortunately that'll be a $270 fine, let me just get my book."St Lenny wrote:I would say contact the Cheer Squad when they are up and running.
