Re: Hughey on the move
Bless the boy. Go Hugh! Some may have forgotten just how good a footballer he is. Last year was a write off. From the practice match in Wangaratta, I suspected something was wrong. He was very sluggish and had trouble getting into the game. Nothing like the Hugh we saw the previous year. I guess his collapse from dehydration may have had something to do with that. I think he will make it and is another potential 'A' grader on our list. Like Big Kev when he was alive, "I'm excited!"
I started with nothing and I've got most of it left!

Don't you mean the other way around or are saying that 29c heat and dehydrating again are not a good mix?SaintPav wrote:Talk about turning a positive into a negative.

As ex-president Peter Summers said:
“If we are going to be a contender, we may as well plan to win the bloody thing.”

Re: Hughey on the move
HJ is riding/swimming now in 16 degree heat.
He should be fine, unless he swallows too much sea water.
Hopefully on his ride through the burbs back to our sacred ground he could detour past our deluded council objector and say hello.

I went down today and spoke to Goddard after his effort. Said the 3km swim was a killer. I'm very proud of the players who are right behind Maddie Riewoldts Vision.
