the 'toilet seat collar' or 'babybib collar' doesn't really appeal.magnifisaint wrote:

Re: New Jumpers
2009 still our best in recent times. Never got used to the white when changed in 2010, The next change with the black grew on me and I bought one Now we are back to this. The neck looks like crap to be honest. But its irrelevant isn't it? lol

I think they look pretty cool. We've been using a lot of white recently with our branding of "by the sea" kind of lightness and "bright future" so this fits in. You need a bit of change each year and I think this is a cool change up. I prefer a v collar but the rounded one is ok. I like the way we have "Dare" smack ban on the players jumper - could be our very raison d'etre this year

Re: New Jumpers
They've been pretty ordinary since 2011. Sadly, the 2017 design isn't really an improvement on the last. Whoever designs these needs to be fired. Why can't they go back to making the white panel wider and bringing back the larger club crest. Glad I bought a '66 replica guernsey to wear to the footy.

Has Armo had a wisdom tooth removed? Or has he been stung by a bumble bee? Bit of swelling evident on the cheekbone.saintbrat wrote:

Loris, why are you focussed on Armo's appearance? I see nothing untoward or unusual.loris wrote:Has Armo had a wisdom tooth removed? Or has he been stung by a bumble bee? Bit of swelling evident on the cheekbone.saintbrat wrote:

A real Sainter will pledge allegiance to the ❤ and despise the Pies, the Blues, and the Injectors.

Re: New Jumpers
The black(er) jumpers were far better, this new design (with more white) will increase the confusion with mostly white clash jumpers worn by opposing teams...
Why can't they just play around with the pre-season strips and leave the home jumper the way it is, grrr...

Re: New Jumpers
I heard from a mate in the industry a while back that BLK were in trouble so I was surprised to hear they were a new partner. Hopefully not to big an issue for the club to get someone else. Just hope we haven't blown next years budget on merchandise already.
Re: New Jumpers
Its the Parent Co, so couldn't someone buy BLK off them so the parent can pay their creditors and not have interruption to supply.

Re: New Jumpers
Timing impeccable. Just like the Carlisle trade. If it wasn't so serious it would almost be humorous.

Re: New Jumpers
I was thinking the same thing, stkfc1. We only signed with them a week or so ago, so we may be able to escape relatively unharmed. Puzzling that we took them on in terms of the timing. If others had heard the rumours, surely someone at the club doing the due dilligence on them would've too.stkfc1 wrote:I heard from a mate in the industry a while back that BLK were in trouble so I was surprised to hear they were a new partner. I started with nothing and I've got most of it left!
