Re: Jaxons come on down
Happy to share with fellow saints supporters. Without us playing finals trade & draft is what keeps us excited about footy.
Re: Jaxons come on down
based on the other players they are interested in; surely theres a chance he either ends up in P.A or GC.

Re: Jaxons come on down
Stone cold is obviously suggesting one of those players ends up at St Kilda.
Re: Jaxons come on down
Yeah you're right its possible that 2 of those 3 might not be at the tigers next yearMyron Gaines wrote:Only one?stonecold wrote:All I will add is this: one of the following will not be at the Tigers next year!!!!!

Re: Jaxons come on down
Age wise Dusty is the best fit, then Jack. Lids too old for us at 30 next year.Myron Gaines wrote:Stone cold is obviously suggesting one of those players ends up at St Kilda.
If the Tiges rebuild and they should, trading Lids to the Cats (the rumour of the last week) makes sense..
If The Tiges are really genuine on rebuilding then trading both Jack (almost 28) and Lids makes a lot of sense as both may not be part of a full rebuild.
Dusty is the one they can least afford to lose given his younger age. Though from a StKilda perspective Dusty is the one I would want the most. Lids definitely too old for us.
With Paddy and Bruce would we need Jack. I would much rather a gun mid or player like Dusty. Trading for Dusty this year would cost say Longer and a good a promising player.

Re: Jaxons come on down
Jaysus....just watching Sydney vs Geelong......get that Tom Mitchell......cool as a cucumber in traffic under pressure
Re: Jaxons come on down
Jack to the Saints is an old rumor, Basically it'd mean Skunk to play in the midfield. Forget Bruce to play down back, wont happen (Would end up as trade bait).
Dusty to the Saints I just dont see happening at least not this year and after that still have doubts. Lids forget it we'd have to have rocks in our head, too old for us

Signed on to say exactly this.st.byron wrote:Jaysus....just watching Sydney vs Geelong......get that Tom Mitchell......cool as a cucumber in traffic under pressure
We got the money and the prospects....we should make him an offer he can't refuse.
If we could entice lachie Weller also we would have a top class midfield
Nee!

Well Swans offered him something like 380k can you beat that?fugazi wrote:maverick wrote:Me toofugazi wrote:Signed on to say exactly this.st.byron wrote:Jaysus....just watching Sydney vs Geelong......get that Tom Mitchell......cool as a cucumber in traffic under pressure

That beats the hawks by at least 50-100k, so now you have a surplus of too many players of the same type, do you trade Armo, Dustan or Ross?fugazi wrote:I'm prepared to offer 600k over 4 years....and could be talked up to 650 for 5.

Re: Jaxons come on down
Armo to Gold Coast and use the pick for Weller
Steven, Mitchell, Acres, Gresham, Newnes first rotation
Ross, Dunstan, Billings, Weller L, Weller M next rotation
Savage, Minch, Sinclair, Lonie can all spend time in there too.
(That leaves Roo, Monty and Gilbert out of equation)

Re: Jaxons come on down
OK but Brizzy would probably only offer their second rounder, Weller is happy where he is and club is more than happy to have him, He wont be that easy to move, Freo knocks you back, What else do you have?fugazi wrote:Armo to Gold Coast and use the pick for Weller

Re: Jaxons come on down
Surely Sydney won't let Mitchell go after tonight's first half?
An incredible display football.

Re: Jaxons come on down
They may well have the problem of simply not have enough cash with committed contracts.Captain Impossible wrote:Surely Sydney won't let Mitchell go after tonight's first half?
.
However if the Swans go all the way Tom may well sign on again for less than he wants. So how driven Tom is for more $$ may well be the key.

Well you cant gauge a player by one game of footy, but their issue is salary cap, to keep their new playersCaptain Impossible wrote:Surely Sydney won't let Mitchell go after tonight's first half?
