Anthony. Morabito
Channel 7 Perth reporting that both St. Kilda and Essendon have spoken to Anthony Morabito.
Surely that is a joke, his body is stuffed.

We are the Saints! We love taking on wounded soldiers. It is how we roll!Junior wrote:Channel 7 Perth reporting that both St. Kilda and Essendon have spoken to Anthony Morabito.

Jesse Smith. The FreeManiac. Might as well take Mora!
In all seriousness though we have probably spoken with 20 blokes already. We might end up with 1 or 2 at the most.
I hope Mora can get back with someone or other. He was a gun and is a hard worker. Has had terrible luck with his body.

If he doesn't measure up, we can always hire him out for children's parties as Count Von Count from Sesame Street. The resemblance is uncanny! 3 knee reconstructions, ah,ah,ah!
I started with nothing and I've got most of it left!

Sam Menegola would have been handy. Another success story from the 'Ross Lyon Youth Development Academy'. Not good enough for a single game according to the supercoach.whiskers3614 wrote:why not?
Let's see if Dawson and Pav would like to come too!

Looks like a real handy player, it is his third club though as he was also at Hawthorn so Clarkson must have missed something as well.Con Gorozidis wrote:Sam Menegola would have been handy. Luckily we did not get him Bluthy would have blown a head gasket if we recruited a top up or reject.

1/ Could just be his manager speaking him upJunior wrote:Channel 7 Perth reporting that both St. Kilda and Essendon have spoken to Anthony Morabito.

2/ If true then it could just be for a potential rookie spot. (He is afterall only a rookie at present)

Look up his WAFL efforts this year and what the club's supporters pretty much universally say about his football. It is sad but surely this is just manager-inspired rubbish.

I feel sorry for the fella. But it is a cut throat business and life is rarely fair. I think he is cooked.
The world tells you that if you work hard you will get rewarded. That is not always the case. I imagine he is having a hard time processing this.

Could have been a great player, injuries have basically made him a spud, he should look for something else in life and hope his body doesn't give him too much arthritic grief in 20 years time.
The list changes for 2025 have begun, always an interesting time for an avid supporter.
