Tom Rockliff - Yay or Nay?

He's 26, an elite midfielder and may well become available.

Some cultural issues at the Lions admittedly. Would he be worth the risk?

Too old for us. Pass.
I reckon he will go to a current contender like the Crows.

As a Free Agent yes. If we have to trade for him NO.

One of the theories behind the unrest at Brisbane is that Dayne Beams is on $800k a year.

I think it is important to very cautious about bringing in outside players on big money.

No point in talking about this. He is not going anywhere. Committed to the Lions.

His manager says he is 99% certain Rockliff will stay at Brisbane. In other words - he's gone!

But are they committed to him? He may not have a choice.

No for getting Rockliff.

He gets plenty of the ball, doesn't do a lot with it, according to that old fart Mark MacLure.

Season 2024 is where RTB is showing the footy world his grasp of the modern game.
