Re: Jaxons come on down
Petracca did his knee in the pre season has his value dropped?
We could recruit someone 100% who could go down the same.
Lenny did his knee twice didn't he?
Gold coast maybe tried to put doubt on him to put people off.
I've got one either side of the barbed wire fence with O'Meara but if it gets too expensive I say no.

I'd still love to get Petracca and the Red, White & Black

Plus a patella, in Jaegar's case.wally wrote:Petracca did his knee in the pre season has his value dropped?

Also, both Hayes and Petracca returned the next season, without any hitches. O'Meara has missed the last 2 seasons.
As long as the risk is properly assessed.

As long as the risk is properly assessed.
1. Identify Risk - in this case, the risk that JOM is not able to sustain playing AFL footy due to his body not being up to it.
2. Evaluate likelihood of risk occurring :
a. Very unlikely
b. Possible
c. Probable
d. Very likely
e. Certain
3. Evaluate consequences of risk occurring :
a. Low impact
b. Somewhat significant impact
c. Significant impact
d. High impact
e. Very High or Catastrophic impact
Evaluate risk and come up with a risk score - i.e 2c / 3d
What do you think the risk to the StKFC is?
Any risk manager proceeding with a plan that scores 2c / 3d for example, better have a very good reason for proceeding. Or proceeding with any plan where the risk consequences are d or e - there better be a good reason to do it.

Re: Jaxons come on down
So the rubber stamping, aka, the medical opinion, has already happened?
Did we at least pound his knees first with the rubber stamp -to see how they stand up?

Re: Jaxons come on down
He's extremely replaceable. He's had one very good year over his career, the rest average to below average & turns 29 next year. Steele & Ross have/will have him covered. O'Meara is different proposition. A guy that takes the ball forward with intent. A fit O'Meara......OmgCon Gorozidis wrote:I am pro getting JOM but it will mean saying bye bye to Armo.

But.....
Armitage is the hardest dude in the comp right now. Seriously, he is a human cannonball with no regard for his own welfare.
Would I want my child doing what he does on the field? God no.
But would I want my teammate doing what he does on the field? Hell yeah!
FWIW, I think he's been carrying something. But regardless, with a young midfield coming through, a lunatic like Armitage will be if great benefit.
And Richardson seems to have a rabid love of contested footy, and Armitage clearly shines in that space. I'd be surprised if he was the table.
