Agree the wheels have fallen off badly. They have fallen into 7th, and play Port at Port next week. Will be boosted by some senior players - I assume ( not 100% sure ) Holmes, Wright, White, Lonie and DMac , query Acres , would be qualified.

Why was Holmes selected over Pierce and Longer if he was out?

Lee & Delaney couldn't get selected even when Chips was out with Hugh and Carlisle not available that's how much they are in the plans.

Good question, though he's surely the least promising of our 4 ruckmen. Maybe 4 primary ruckmen isn't too bad, but maybe it's on the high side. I can't find that post about other team's ruck stocks to compare against.
