Broke 6 Year Drought
Hard to believe we have to go back to Aug 21 2010 when we last beat Richmond. We won by 21 points. Montagna was best on ground. Jack Riewoldt kicked 7 goals. They thrashed us earlier in 2010.

Great to beat them. They have had the wood on us for five years. Today really confirmed their demise.

That leaves Hawthorn, Port, the Swans and North as the monkeys clinging to our back.
While we're a gorilla clinging to Melbourne's back.

I stand corrected. Correct Kosifan - yes we won both games in 2010. And some of us remember when we had that streak from about 2003-2010.

I missed the terrible win against Essendon. Was yesterday's win any better than that?
I thought we were pretty bad yesterday. It's just the Tiggers were even worse

The Crows and West Coast Eagles say "hi."
I think we worry Freo and the Bulldogs as well as Melbourne.

Re: Broke 6 Year Drought
No, it was a terrible game. When Paddy broke his collarbone, that snuffed the last bit of light out of the game as a spectacle, but we enjoyed ourselves standing behind the Punt Rd goals with a St. Kilda 'grog squad' and made the most of it.saintspremiers wrote:I missed the terrible win against Essendon. Re: Broke 6 Year Drought
is it the first time Nick has outscored Jack?
ok it was by only 1 point- but jack generally loves to come out and play well against us
I have been unable to watch the replay yet- who was on Jack..

Dumpster - and he really dumped him in it - would have been goalless unless some numpty from as far away as Harbour Town had not paid a high bump free to Tigger for a cannon from a push in Seb's backsaintbrat wrote:is it the first time Nick has outscored Jack?

Re: Broke 6 Year Drought
I was at both and at least the game against the injectors had highlights. The turnovers yesterday from both sides were a sight to never behold again.saintspremiers wrote:I missed the terrible win against Essendon. Was yesterday's win any better than that?
I thought we were pretty bad yesterday. It's just the Tiggers were even worse
But yesterday we never looked like losing. Even though we applied the skill level we brought to the Gold Coast game.
