Clearly one of our best, playing the role the club wants him to play. Not sure he missed a target in a game of comical skill errors. Why is there so much hate towards him. Dumbfounded.
The end of The Kettering Incident was more exciting, and that's saying something.

I suggest you watch the replay, he was insipid
Rubbish. I watched the game. Get off his back. Your comments towards him are pathetic at best.
33 disposals; 20 kicks and 13 hand passes at 85% efficiency in one of our "worst" wins ever.
Obviously Monty is shot. Make Saintbob our list manager and de-list!
Some posters know something about the game, and others, not so much.

This was my highlight too in an otherwise deplorable display of skills (or lack thereof). But we kept going, and at the end of the day an ugly win is still a win.
And as I was sitting almost behind the Richmond cheer squad, always enjoyable to watch them flood out in droves 10 minutes into the last.

I will go to bed a lot happier than if we had lost.
Absolutely!
And the worst we can do is break even - who amongst us would not have taken that at the start of the year - And 12/10 would have been an unachievable expectation after the first two rounds

If you have a Bee in your Bonnet - I can assist you with that - but it WILL involve some smacking upside the head!

what an odd thing to say.
What's so odd? He hasn't got the skills
Solid game by Holmes Some of our supporters are really footy savy
It was indeed a terrible standard game, and the final siren was a relief for all sorts of reasons - BUT it was way more enjoyable than hundreds of others I have seen. I remember catching the train back from Sydney after we lost by nearly 100 points , in one of Barry Breen's last games. That was not enjoyable .
Lots to like in amongst the mess.
Paddy - he has a long, hard summer in front of him, but I have full faith he will do all that is required and more, and I am very much looking forward to seeing him next season.
Acres is jncreasingly looking likely to be a gun. Ditto Gresham - oozes class.
DMac runs hard and straight - like him a lot.
Billings - much better this week.
Dempster did a number on Jack Riewoldt, who usually towels us up.
I thought Holmes was a sound selection , and did well. Hampson is in good form, and did very well against the Cats big men last week. Longer has been way out of form, and Lewie does not yet have the big body to take on Hampson on the big G. Holmes gave a contest, was beaten but not slaughtered . He was picked to give us the best chance to win, for which the coach need not make any apology.
Ross was the class midfielder on the ground .
Tiger fans had a really bad day. This is a good thing. Schadenfraude, but without apology,

Welcome aboard, Rushie. Like a good buy on the stock market. You bought in low and you'll reap the benefits in the next few years. I can get you mood stabilisers on the cheap. You'll need them now you've joined the pack.
I started with nothing and I've got most of it left!

Danky ones?
As ex-president Peter Summers said:
“If we are going to be a contender, we may as well plan to win the bloody thing.”

Absolutely Saynta. Sometimes you just gotta win ugly. Been a very positive year. Unbeaten at the G was one of the goals. Strap yourself in for the next couple of years.

Heaven forbid! I've got more class than that. And more reputable suppliers. I feel for the Dankster. It's getting so that a mad scientist can't make a dishonest living anymore!
