A Defining Moment.
Tomorrow nights game is equivalent to an Elimination final . It will be a test of our game plan under finals type pressure. We need to win this game to keep our finals hopes alive. We as supports probably think we won't make it to the finals but the players will be wanting to play finals no doubt and will give their all . So if we win tomorrow it will be a defining moment for our game plan and our players .If We win as underdogs under pressure it would be safe to say we have arrived.
Getting very excited about this game i think it's the biggest test yet. Hopefully we learnt something from the kanga game.

Re: A Defining Moment.
Sounds a lot like the build up to the North Game - sorry - but when we lost that we lost the chance at finals.
I am as one eyed as the next person - but the effort of the North Game broke me - we could have left it all on the park, but instead we rolled over.
I hope we win, and I hope we make the finals, but since I gave up hope I feel much better!!!!

It had nothing to do with effort.

Re: A Defining Moment.
It wont be a finals like game if north overcome Hawthorn during the day.
I'm hoping not as I believe we will make a better fist of the season on the line opportunity

Re: A Defining Moment.
We'll get wallopped.
Its not a defining moment. Its just a game where a team that is developing comes up against a top 2 team and gets rolled.
They're far better than us, and so they should be.

Re: A Defining Moment.
And then we can rue the Gold Coast loss. That game cost us a shot at the finals (plus not being good enough against north).

Re: A Defining Moment.
Assuming Hawks beat Norf all I'm after is a small loss.
It's is very simplistic to think it will be close or we can win. Sydney need to win AND build percentage, so they could well turn on the afterburners and destroy us.

No more than the Port loss did.Jacks Back wrote:And then we can rue the Gold Coast loss. That game cost us a shot at the finals (plus not being good enough against north).
Or the Hawks loss etc etc
We're not good enough to play finals, yet.

Re: A Defining Moment.
Cant see us winning. Sydney are rhe best team in the comp and in their best form.
IF we can beat them WOW!!!
But really I just want us to show more composure than we did in our game against North. That was a final and we cracked under pressure. Which is fair enough and to be expected being so young.
So an improvement there is all i would need to be happy.

Think the people behind me enjoyed it especially when I stood up to salute Wright's goal.borderbarry wrote:Enrico Misso, that will be one ugly sight.
