Unfortunately hes injured his good shoulder.
Been getting stronger each week and I think will be a star in the next year or two.

Skunk had a shoulder reco at end of 2015 season, and they're similar ages.
No problems, he will come back stronger than ever.
Good medical staff at Seaford, I imagine.

Re: Dunstan
In fairness here, BM was only ever critical of his performance... with one exception, I've never known to actually hope someone gets injured/fails etc... most just want said maligned player to be bettersupersaints wrote:BM... Re: Dunstan
I Never suggested that anyone wants to see a player get injured?? but if BM thinks he's not an AFL player why would he want him back next season . There are many posts about how bad he thinks Dunstan is.skeptic wrote:In fairness here, BM was only ever critical of his performance... with one exception, I've never known to actually hope someone gets injured/fails etc... most just want said maligned player to be bettersupersaints wrote:BM... Dunstan will become BM's next Hickey. Remember the "Ectomorph" posts stating Hickey will never make it? Dunstan will prove him wrong as well. Top quality young player, who is highly regarded by players and coaching staff, alike. And they'd know.

Re: Dunstan
Exactly! Just listen to Richo's press conference after the game today against Carlton. Glowing about Dunstan. Obviously he is not the perfect player, but based on the way they talk about him you would think he executes what is expected of him pretty close to perfectly.White Winmar wrote:Dunstan will become BM's next Hickey. Disappointing end to his season but he'll be back no worries.
Re: Dunstan
Farking disgraceful!!!!
After a player is seriously injured, to make this post about me is f***ing typical of this joint. I can't say a farking thing without it being taken out of context, misrepresented or blown out of proportion!!!
And to think I wanna see a tough young saint injured is downright offensive!!!
I have never personally insulted Luke, wished him bad or ever suggested he won't/can't improve his game and end up a good player... No, the hysterical d***heads on here make it personal... And make the entire thread a BigMart soap opera... Like I've killed bambi
All for suggesting his output (as a player ATM) is too low for an inside mid... That was it.. Oh, and he needs to shed weight and improve his running.
Last year it was common for everyone to suggest he had second year blues? This year, same numbers... But he's flying?!
He's a good kid, he'll recover and continue to develop.
I wish him all the best, and am extremely hopeful that he becomes a quality inside mid like Matt Priddis.
To anyone suggesting I'm glad he got hurt
Go and get ####ed!

I would suggest that if anyone gets so worked up so as to respond as per the response on here that, for the good of their own health and well being, they get a life perhaps by undertaking an educational or fitness pursuit with the time they currently devote to this forum.

Re: Dunstan
Speaking of patronising
I'm just offended by the suggestion (albeit by imbeciles) that I can't empathise with the injury of a young player.
Like I'm not allowed to
And I'm a touch sick of the personal insults
And because the mods allow the baiting
I'll return fire

Re: Dunstan
He'll be able to spend the pre season building his tank which is what he really needs to work on. Right now he's not a strong enough runner to match the output of other onballers. Here's hoping he can improve his running and build his weekly output by 3-4 disposals per game in 2017.

The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

Not sure how his dislocated shoulder helps him building his tank over the pre- season?mad saint guy wrote:He'll be able to spend the pre season building his tank which is what he really needs to work on. Probably be in a sling for 3 weeks and I'm guessing they wouldn't want him to run during this time. This takes it basically the end of the season with no running, it will put at best three weeks less than he would have to build his tank. Could do water running (possibly?) to build his arobics ...but I ain't no fitness adviser.
If I were coach I'd give him a well earned rest , he deserves a break been a tough year in the middle.
Don't disagree his running capacity needs to continue to improve next season tho,
Problem for right now I think is that against Sydney is the one game I would like him in most to combat thier hard mature bodies not sure who can give us the same grunt.
