Demons beat Hawks?
How did this happen?
We have to beat Carlscum or we stay in 11th place, with Sydney next week keeping us there too.
Who the hell could have predicted that result?
Rugby League has some match fixing issues, how much did the Hawks put on the Dees to win?
It will pay for their end of season trip now

Re: Demons beat Hawks?
Not one of these
A beat B and C beat A therefore C beats B threads.....
Hawks were due for an off game and usually lose one around this time of year. Remember last year they lost to both Richmond and Port in August.
I wouldnt read all that much in to it.

Re: Demons beat Hawks?
I forgot they lost to the yellowstriped losers last year. I pay no attention to other teams' wins.
But I suppose it makes sense that they have to drop at least one game. only human.

If anything it shows how well Melb are going with their development. They've certainly bolstered their midfield.
They took it up to the hawks all day and didnt crumble.
To win a flag were going to have to go past them. their midfield will only get better. Hopefully we can get ours sorted out, were not looking to strong atm

think you may find that the hawks do a heavy training block about now so they are peaking for sept/oct.
happens every year and everyone jumps off, is the time to get on them.... bet responsibly.

If you were going to accuse anyone of match fixing, you would pbly consider starting with us.
The Saints have absolutely sunk my footy tipping this year looking like a million bucks one week and churning a performance like that against the Roos the next

that makes sense...I recall several athletes in the past, such as swimmers, cyclists, etc, mullet wrote:think you may find that the hawks do a heavy training block about now so they are peaking for sept/oct.

not doing so well at Pan-Pacific Games and other games leading up to an important world champ event, and they were quoted as saying they were building to the big event.

Well the bulldogs (B) DID beat North (C). We're 'A' in this scenario.Con Gorozidis wrote:Not one of these

I reckon the only person as happy as the Dees people that Melbourne won is Clarko.

I'd prefer the Hawks to win the flag over GWS, Shytme or Adelaide
i am Melbourne Skies - sometimes Blue Skies, Grey Skies, even Partly Cloudy Skies.

I believe it's been reported that they really ramp it up a month out ...mullet wrote:think you may find that the hawks do a heavy training block about now so they are peaking for sept/oct.
