Re: Tom Lee
Don't think he's been that bad, just don't put him in the ruck.

Re: Tom Lee
Happy to give him a few games before the end of the season but at this rate I cannot see him on the list next season.
Clueless and mediocre petty tyrant.

i am Melbourne Skies - sometimes Blue Skies, Grey Skies, even Partly Cloudy Skies.
Re: Tom Lee
I think his tank is a big issue - its looking like its not AFL standard. He's also not good off the deck. Having both him and Delaney in the backline makes us pretty stodgy - Delaney had 0 kicks which shows you how much he feels confident kicking.

Re: Tom Lee
True. Shame as I'd prefer him at Sandy. Very handy VFL playerCon Gorozidis wrote:Gone. Will be in the WAFL season.

Could be... from what I saw was toweled up and not up to it.saintspremiers wrote:Seems injured again. Just not up to it it seems.
defence where lazy and asleep today, bloody horrid the lot of em JG was best out of the bunch for me
Re: Tom Lee
Fish, not necessarily Demps. We are already too flat at the back. We need more half back creators, not more shut down players like Demps. I want to see White come in and show what he can do. Rice and Mckenzie are the others that can fire shots from the back. Games like that shows up how we can't work the ball out of the back cleanly.felix wrote:A lot of posters wanted fish and Dempster gone ...would have been handy today.

Re: Tom Lee
Doesn't have the body that will hold up to the physicality of AFL football. Being undersized for key position (strength-wise), his future seems pretty clear. Feel sorry for him. He's been injured for most of his time with us. Wasn't his fault we gave up a first round pick for him.

Re: Tom Lee
The ultimate question with Lee is not if he is a KPP defender but if, with Carlisle and Goddard long term (and Fisher and Dempster both retired and I would not be forcing either out), can he play that 3rd "tall" defender role because, whilst we still have Fisher that role is not a problem because Fisher is one of the all time best in that role, but there is no obvious alternate candidate on our List currently other than Lee (ie Delaney and others mentioned, who are all mid-size defenders do not provide that option).

Re: Tom Lee
Looked like he was playing injured - trying to save his career. Roberton & Gilbert were no better.
Re: Tom Lee
Second chance on an afl list, and people still call him a kid...he isn't
Both relevant points
Not many get that opportunity, and he somehow got a 2 year deal...

Re: Tom Lee
Lee is a nice bloke who has tried hard and it's not his fault that our recruiters at the time were either blinded or under the influence of something to swap such a high draft pick for him. A very poor choice. There were never any quality highlights of him remotely justifying his worth.

I have been saying that for a number of years.
He is a liability. Like playing a man short.
After today's piss poor effort, surely his papers have been stamped
