I take your point but we've, arguably, performed better without our front-line defence against two in-form teams.
But, that being said, I don't think we will make the finals. Can't see us beating the Kangas, Dogs or Swans and we'd need to one one or more of those.
If we beat the teams that we should beat and win some of them handsomely then, I'd be happy.
This year was our "hold" year..It was important not to give any ground and improve where we could.
Once Carlisle comes into the team then he will help shore up the back line and our mids will have another year to mature...
I am very bullish about next season.
