Re: Danger mouse kneed gears in the head
As much as I want to see our players protected I don't think it was intentional. The commentary theory that he was pulling his leg free is surely plausible?

Re: Danger mouse kneed gears in the head
to be fair they said he is the biggest name in the game and it will get looked at. I love dangerfield , he is brilliant , but it looked like a deliberate movement to me.
Disappointing, and as if they will rub out the brownlow fave. But it was a head and it was a knee.

Looked deliberate to me. Moving the knee quickly forward and back looks more deliberate than a knee following through into a step.

Re: Danger mouse kneed gears in the head
I don't think he even connected and that Geary was just trying for a free. But, even if he did connect, there was not enough force to constitute a strike/knee and Geary got up and played the game out. No case to answer. NEXT!
As ex-president Peter Summers said:

Re: Danger mouse kneed gears in the head
Don't think it will go anywhere...only benefited from TV replay, but if the knee did make contact it would be easy to give Danger the benefit of the doubt (i.e. pulling his leg out of the way). MRP will note it and take no action IMO.
Re: Danger mouse kneed gears in the head
Yeah I didn't think much in it. Danger was trying to get free of being legged by Gears being professionally annoying and maybe was a bit rough in his desperation but wouldn't like to see Danger get rubbed out for that.degruch wrote:Don't think it will go anywhere...only benefited from TV replay, but if the knee did make contact it would be easy to give Danger the benefit of the doubt (i.e. pulling his leg out of the way).
