Good to see some common sense.kosifantutti wrote:Lee and Delaney straight in.
.
While Delaney has been on the outer for a bit he has beena good stopper and has some experience with 59 games and is almost 27.
Tom Lee looked ok in his last games, even though Richo must not ahve been happy with aspects of his game.
Both should give our backline some structure.
Really need our midfield to fire up this week.

Re: Team v Blues
I would like to see Pierce get his first game - whilst it's not looking like 2 ruckmen is a structure we are working towards with paddy, Bruce and membery looking like they are going to be the mainstays of a really good forward structure - the extra big guy might help Bruce and membery to continue their work with a familiar forward set up

Roo, Dempster and Fisher are unlikely to be around in two years time anyway
We might look back at this game and I think this is when the new era came of age .......... it would be big step for this young playing group if we could sneak a win

Sinclair, Murdoch and Lee will be cut from the starting line up.
Meaning Pierce, Acres, Minchington, Mckenzie and Delaney will play.
Pierce, Membrey and Bruce will start up forward.

Can't see McKenzie or Murdoch playing.saintbob wrote:Sinclair, Murdoch and Lee will be cut from the starting line up.

With neither Fisher nor Dempster playing I reckon Richo is forced into playing both Lee and Delaney.
Otherwise we will have a combo of Geary, Savage and Gilbo holding up a key defensive post which won't bode well.

I just had look at the Carlton forward line, and they've only got one big forward in Casboult.saintspremiers wrote:Can't see McKenzie or Murdoch playing.saintbob wrote:Sinclair, Murdoch and Lee will be cut from the starting line up.

Carlton beating us by !> 39.5 points is paying $4.50.
Good bet to have money on
With such a disruption, the teams "system" will be not followed.
Its gonna be a train wreck

McKenzie surprisingly has not been picked in the 25. He was in the 22 last week, pulled out through illness, and now with 4 players out does not get in the 22 this week.
Lee and Delaney are in the 18 and will play.
I reckon Pierce will be the added tall forward with a run in the ruck. Acres will be added as a big bodied midfielder . I think Murdoch goes out, probably for Wright who was close to BOG last week.
So that would leave Murdoch, Sinclair and Minchington as the emergencies. There is also a chance Sinclair will come in for Billings but I think Jack B will hold his spot.

Backs against the wall. Anything can happen - and we are at home against a team that has had only a couple of significant wins. Unfortunately one of them was only 2 weeks ago against Geelongbigcarl wrote:Would it what.
