I honestly think Lyon is giving it everything he has. He is the type of bloke that is too proud to tank for draft picks.

There's not been a Freo game this season where I believe that they haven't given everything they've got. The only problem has been what they've got has been rubbish!

They havent been tanking they are just no good. Maybe with a fit Fyfe they could be 2-9. That is the best case scenario. The reality is the Lyon game plan is 10 years old and is exhausting for players physically and mentally. It was always going to end like this.
