Whether he's going to play seniors or not, surely you would want him to come through unscathed.Bunk_Moreland wrote:Why? Scathed or un he wont play seniors this yearMC Gusto wrote:God I hope he gets through unscathed

Gonna get there early and have a look...
I doubt he will play the full four quarters.

No. Coach has said this year is about bullet proofing. If he comes through unscathed and continues to strengthen then I dare say he will play seniors...form dependent of course

Re: Freeman due back in the devs
So has he had 46 disposals yet?
Just joking. I just want to see him stay on the park get through back to back games at present.
Any good form is a bonus.

tell us when he jogs off at the end of the game. Even 15 to 20 will be enough

Re: Freeman due back in the devs
Yeah nothing special to report. Got through three quarters and definitely had the foot off in the third. Got through OK.
Good win to the sandy dev side. Just owned the second half.

Good news that he got through, form is irrelevant really. All about those kilometers.

Well given his history, some may view him just getting through the game as special.

Re: Freeman due back in the devs
WTF is Freeman doing sitting on the bench with all his hamstring issues?
Where the f*** are his Pilates trainer and yoga instructor?
It's amateur hour! This is BS. I want heads!!

So way down in possessions from last game and benched in the last qtr. Already on a downward trajectory. Dud.Bunk_Moreland wrote:Sat out the last qtr on the bench. No strapping, no ice, no limp.

Re: Freeman due back in the devs
Good that he got through, I've got high hopes for this kid. I hope he's a gun partly for our midfield's sake and, secondly, to spite Collingwood,
I hope we are able to navigate the fine line between being over cautious with the kid and getting him to senior football. If his body holds up and his form is good enough I don't see why he shouldn't play seniors this season. If it's going to break it's going to break

Re: Freeman due back in the devs
Why does it matter he plays ones this year? Are we going for a flag? No. As long as he plays some footy where he can learn his craft onfield - whether devs for Sandy firsts - thats what matters. People just want to see their new speedy toy out there. But logic says why risk him in the high pace AFL arena yet. Let him do another full preseason where they can keep working on building all his leg muscles up they way they want and then he can have a crack at AFL. Thats the sensible course to me.bigcarl wrote:Good that he got through, I've got high hopes for this kid. I hope he's a gun partly for our midfield's sake and, secondly, to spite Collingwood,
