Blake Acres
If he was wearing number 7 today I could have been mistaken Lenny was out there. Great game today 28 disp 2 goals. Has good evasive skills. Can only get better just gotta keep playing him.

Re: Blake Acres
Acres Rising Star watch:
A bit quiter in the last when the game was over.
28 disposals. 6 contested. 2 goals. 5 tackles. 2 goal assists. 3 inside 50s.
I'll be disappointed if he doesn't get the nomination this week.
Was $51 with the bookies before the season. If he gets the nomination that will go to $20.

Re: Blake Acres
I was thinking the same thing. His sidestep is similar to Lenny's as is his general movement. Hopefully he'll play a lot of games for us over the next ten years.Pwoit wrote:If he was wearing number 7 today I could have been mistaken Lenny was out there. Great game today 28 disp 2 goals. He's got something. Need to clean up his kicking though. Hopefully he can. Very exciting.

Well 8cres only went at 68% DE so he should be okay to get a senior game next week.LTN16 wrote:Will probably be playing VFL next week if he didn't follow AR's "Team Rules"

Re: Blake Acres
He looked tired on that last quarter and so I can't wait till he builds his tank more.
He looked really good today.

Re: Blake Acres
He will need to work on his tank, and his kicking. If they both get up to just an ok level he will be a gun such is his sublime movement in traffic

Re: Blake Acres
They all looked tired in the last qtr. -six day break and they really created great pressure.
Next week is a big challenge as we don't have enough tall defenders to play on their forwards.

Will personally burn down Seaforfd and s*** bomb Richo's house if he finds some silly pretext to drop Acres after that. Billings. McCartin. Acres. They are the holy trinity of our rebuild. Dunstan and Ross for the grunt, the holy T for the X factor match winning ability. I'm convinced he has Fyfe like traits.

Re: Blake Acres
Just reads the play beautifully, great size. Not super quick, but has great awareness and evasive skills.
Yeah his short kicks dont seem fluid, but longer range passes are ok I reckon.
His goal today on the angle was a treat.
