Pre-bounce song
On what was an otherwise sullen evening, I will say that I thought the new "knock knock" introduced version of OWTSGMI just before the bounce was pretty, pretty good - especially when the tempo picked up.
I am generally anti manufactured measures to gee up the fans (including the "make some noise!" exhortations after goals) but this is simple enough and based on the tradition of our song that it might work.
Would be interested in what others thought.

Re: Pre-bounce song
Someone explain the knock knock thing? I heard the singing on the live stream in the warmup but obviously wasn't clear.

I wasn't paying much attention to it but in the latter stages o took notice and thought it was quite good.

Re: Pre-bounce song
Liked the song.
But they needed to start playing it earlier as it was not finished when the ball was bounced.

Re: Pre-bounce song
It was fantastic, it should get more crowd participation now that we know it's happening

Is the end of it from the Southampton mob...
Singing the song?
They should play that a heap more.

Also liked it.
It takes time for these things to take off and for fans to feel confident to join in. If they keep it up it will only get better.

It needs to be finished just before the siren sounds - not after it.saintsRrising wrote:Liked the song.

Also it is way too fast for a large crowd to sing together. The fast part needs to be slowed down a tad (still fastish but not TOO fast).

I did not say for it to finish after it, which is why I stated that they need to start playing it earlier.Jacks Back wrote:It needs to be finished just before the siren sounds - not after it.saintsRrising wrote:Liked the song.

It needs to be finished in time to allow for the crowd to roar as the ball is bounced.
