Dave, there is no chance that P66 will be allowed to return as a poster. There are consequences for dishing out that kind of abuse. End of story.Dave McNamara wrote: Hi Mods, at the risk of rhyming, Jack's on track.

I'm making no claims to psychiatric prominence (at least not as a practitioner ) but seriously guys, surely that suggests that something not good may have happened in his life to provoke that(?) And then, unfortunately, you guys were on the end of it all.
Precedence: We've had plenty of brain fades on here before... and some truly spectacular implosions. And generally they make for good theatre. Two relatively recent examples come to mind. Both took their bat and ball, and strode off. And in a big moment, one even gave very public advice to another completely innocent Saintsationalist, in regards as to where to go and what to do there... and no apology that I've spotted has ever been given for that.
Both have been welcomed back. (Well, at least, I welcome their return. ) Precedence.
So come on Mods. Please. What Pluggsy posted... is totally out of character with the sentiments he expressed throughout his ten (to the infinite number of) posts. How's about considering something bad may well have happened to him, and that Pluggsy may well be a case for special dispensation?
And Simon, if you're concerned re the time it takes to moderate the Pluggster, then fair enough. I have the solution. Let him back, but as penance, make him a moderator.
I reckon that Saintsational would then be able to start selling tickets.

I don't understand why this should make any difference to what was reportedly PM'ed to BFUSA.
Regardless, there is no excuse.
P66 would have been fully aware of the impact of such PM's.

Can I ask what happened? I didn't see anything bad posted - myself and the poster in question have had our disagreements over the journey but I really saw nothing overly bad - not on this forum.

All of it was reported and shared with the other mod.
It is not fit to be published anywhere public.

Re: Please explain
This place will be poorer for his loss
It takes two partners for the plugger dance and there was always a point when you could politely decline and sit the dance out
He would often stand in front the rampaging lynch mob, and for that he copped a contrary persona - when it was mostly a rational point of view.
I have no reason to doubt the out of character vulgarity of the posts to the MOD - but I reckon he just copied and pasted a few PM's from his in-box
I hope he's up there somewhere - reading all of this - and having a bit of a chuckle

BTW. Even after I took over the sponsorship, Plugger was very helpful in reminding people to pay and actually collecting the money from one poster. He was also the first to pay.

Re: Please explain
This is just a theory and I obviously can't prove it but maybe on some subconscious level P66 snuffed himself out intentionally.
Wasn't he posting an average of 15 times a day over the last 10 years? Saintsaitional was an obsession and was probably dominating his life. It was an addiction and he needed to tame the beast.

But I have a couple of MOD questions
Has there been any previous stickies "outing" a poster before?

you would have the stats - how about posting Who gets reported and who reports posts the most?
