Re: Saints in an old beer TV ad.
I like it. Nice shot of the club crest to a snap zoom out and then panning slightly to reveal the entrance of Moorabbin on match day. Of course Carlton Draught ads used to be accompanied by the music from The Magnificent Seven back then. These days the music would be abrasive and attention grabbing, but in a negative way. I like the montage of the guy returning to Melbourne. Nowadays the script would be something inane and stupid.
Ah, the days when advertising was less grating and offensive.

Nice memory. The old member's entrance at Moorabbin. And the Gas and Fuel buildings. Thanks ctqs.

I love these ads.
Time when international travel and returning expats were still a novelty.
Love how he is arriving into Melbourne from the airport heading north.

Mind you, they had a lousy script and director to work with.ripplug66 wrote:4 very bad actors

Re: Saints in an old beer TV ad.
That one reminds me of the ads they'd show circa early 80s in the middle of the night during the Late, Late Movie on Channel 9.
