For this club...just been reading the stats on AFL tables and reading the wikipedia. The 80s isn't even mentioned in the wikipedia lol...
Almost 10 years of sustained sucess minus a premiership but hey at least we are improving on that lowest winning percentage of any club still playing in the AFL

Locals you are a pathetic waste of kilobytes in cyberspace.
I suggest the mods do a quick scan of his posts and just ban his IP and be done with it.

I've done that and looking at all the posts, I can't see any evidence that the poster is a troll. Here's the definition of 'troll' as per SS Forum rules :saintspremiers wrote:Locals you are a pathetic waste of kilobytes in cyberspace.

“Trolls” are defined as posters who have the only goal to create friction and anger in our community.
Any poster, who has the sole aim to create friction and anger in our community may be eligible for an official Saintsational warning / a one month ban, or account deletion by the administrators."
Looks to me like someone who is a Saints person and is not posting with the sole aim to create anger and friction. Some people are inclined to look at the negatives and some at the positives.

Clearly another pies troll.

Yes agree you could read those quotes like that. But there are other comments that seem like to be comments of a Saints person. Some people just take a negative view. Note taken and will watch.

HARSH response what do you prefer prelims and constant top 8 finishes or the a 50% chance of the wooden spoon like the 80s?
I'd prefer to be competing, to be relevant, too be good.

OP is bulls*** anyway.
1961 to 72 was by far our most successful era. Three grannies and a flag. Should have been at least 2 more flags too in my opinion.

The best chance we had was in 1997 - that was truly the one that got away.
We played better in the 1971, 2009, and 2010 GFs than we did in the 97 one, but the sides we played were better. Incredibly Adelaide won it again in 98. Unbelievable.
