ST KILDA'S senior players are "filthy" at the conduct of new teammate Jake Carlisle and he will be made to front the leadership group on his return to explain a controversial video that aired on Wednesday night.
Carlisle will return early from an overseas holiday after speaking with Saints coach Alan Richardson late on Wednesday night, with the former Essendon tall set to confront a frustrated and unhappy team.
The 24-year-old apologised in a statement for his "clearly inappropriate behaviour", which St Kilda CEO Matt Finnis said was a requirement of joining the club.
Finnis said the key position player still had a long road ahead to earn the trust of his new teammates.

IMO Matt should have stuck the boots Into Essendon a little bit, saying now Jake has been moved from his oreviuos environment I would expect etc, etc, we are too politically correct hopefully behind the scenes we are demanding. A full AFL investigation about the video and who knew what
As I've stated, I'm fearful that he already has at least one strike, as I've stated before?
And the president said " I did not have sex with that woman"
And our former president said " Football is like golf"

I'd like to see him suspended for the first few rounds by our club, but this probably isn't possible as he was not our player when he had a sniff.
The club can choose to pick or not pick who it likes. It wouldn't surprise me if he did miss the first 1-2 games as punishment.
What do they do in the army? They certainly don't give you time off for bad behavior. They get you to do extra stuff. Clean the toilets with your toothbrush. Run behind the back of the team bus while holding a football above your head. Laundry duty, and no weekend pass.
It would be a good sign if Carlisle arrives at Seaford early and begins work asap. That's what I would like to see. And for him it would be easier to meet the players gradually having been at Seaford putting in, rather than turning up first day of school with everyone waiting.

Perhaps as well as explaining himself to the leadership group and apologising to the players he could get up at the AGM and apologise to the members!
That might begin to buy him a bit of respect given his current level is zero.
The rest of Australia can wander mask-free, socialise, eat out, no curfews, no zoning, no police rings of steel, no illogical inconsistent rules.
They can even WATCH LIVE FOOTY!

not if it's heavily scripted- would need to show some honesty and personal.
