2016 team. Finals?
Fisher and Gilbert now back fit and a good pre season for top 22 is quite good. The bext two years may be fruitful more than we think.
Webster. Fisher/Goddard. Savage
Roberton. Carlisle. Dempster
Billings. Dunstan. Gilbert
Lonie. Reiwoldt. Freeman
Sinclair. Bruce. McCartin/Membrey
Longer. Armitage. Steven
Montagna. Newnes. McKenzie. Weller
If all fit and firing. Look out. Young and old - baby bombers 93 anyone?

Looks about a 10 to 14side so probably at best 11 wins and at worst 6 wins. There are still plenty of gaps. At least 6 to 8 players short of a finals side.

Savage. Gilbert, Lonie, Sinclair, Freeman, Membery/McCartin, McKenzie, Weller. Some will make it and some wont. Most aren't close to be ready for finals next season and then the year after we lose 2 or 3 experienced players so even if a few come through they only replace the retired ones. Well short of finals IMO and to be expected.

I would hope for a 12-9 finish next year provided we get our trades and have some luck with injury etc. However realistically I wouldn't be surprised if our performances next year will be similar to this years and we end on a similar win loss ratio.

finishing in the bottom 1/3 rd of the standings again.
(which is not really a disaster , imo)
... maybe just breaking into that middle tier (if the injury gods are kind)
We are still foundation building as far as i can see.
3 draft periods (including this current experience) 16,17 &18 pre seasons ,
66 games .... could see a barnstorming run into the finals of 2018.

I think when we click we will click and rise rapidly. Our effort/ pressure is phenomenal. I don't think it will be next year though.

Watched that game against the Doggies again the other night. McKenzie was great, I feel sure he will make it. Also feel Acres should be in there somewhere.ripplug66 wrote:SMS wrote:Even 100% fit? Whos the gap?
