The 7 Stages of Grief
Now that the season has ended on such a crappy note I'm feeling a bit aggrieved.
Typically, the seven stages of grief are described as:
- Shock or Disbelief (This is BS)
- Denial (This can't be happening. I thought we were better than this)
- Anger (Bloody umpires)
- Bargaining (If only we had gotten more midfielders/a good big backman/Petracca in the draft)
- Guilt (It's all Plugger's fault)
- Depression (Will we ever win a flag?)
- Acceptance and Hope (Maybe this next draft will see us get the players we need)
I think I am already at stage 3 (Anger at the umpires).
What stage are you at and when will you start to accept our position in the pecking order?

As ex-president Peter Summers said:
“If we are going to be a contender, we may as well plan to win the bloody thing.”

Stuck between Guilt and Depression and having relapses into Bargaining stage
If Paddy does a Hogan (and becomes Saints great white hope) I'll move to the next stage

Re: The 7 Stages of Grief
Actually at relief that the seasons over and the last two weeks actually didn't happen, denial.
looking forward to trade period and draft to see what we can do to win a couple of more games next year and not get flogged again for a very long time like the last 2 weeks.

Think of me long enough to make a memory.
