Ray retire
White trade for draft pick
Fisher retire

Jack Steven......If someone was prepared to give us pick 5 or better plus upgrade our second pick (24ish) to pick 15ish then I would do it. He is a very good player but he just isn't damaging enough with his kicks. If we weren't able to get pick 5 and an upgrade to our second pick then we absolutely keep him.

Why do you post this crap? Gilbert just signed and Steven has a 5 year contract. Fisher just signed. Surely your contract is up on here.

Just because players have signed on doesn't mean they can't be traded. And anyway, I'm just posting my opinion which is what Forums are for. If you don't agree then just list your (valid) reasons.

I did. They just signed. I also think you contract is also up. And I don't need valid reasons why they should stay. You failed to give valid reasons why they should go.

By the look of recent re-signings it must really be a weak draft. At this early stage I see next year being another holding year ladder wise. Yea we'll get natural improvement in some players but whilst we continue to rely on our older players to hold us together we won't make significant gains. In an ideal world blokes like Fisher, Minchington, Ray and others wouldn't be offered new deals as we'd have younger players ready to step up and take their spots. I think the Saints will look at trading someone like Ross if the right deal can be done.

Think P66 made it clear it was not 700k.

He said 699k.

Pretty good bargain considering our Salary Cap and the fact Fish will play on until he is forty

Actually, it does mean they can't be traded unless they want to go and I assume any player that has just signed a contract in the last 6 months wants to stay.

Fish has struggled this year I reckon. He has great skills but struggles one-on-one with the gorilla forwards which he often gets. Seany D on the other hand has had another really good year. Playing more like Chips used to play.
