Last win against WCE at Subi
It was round 9 in 2010, when we won by 35 points. In that game, the Brownlow votes went to Lenny Hayes (3), Farren Ray (2) and Brendon Goddard (1). Including today's emergencies, WCE have 10 players from that game selected today. We have 4. In 2010, WCE finished last.

So the last time we beat them there, they finished last and we made the GF. Hmmm.

5 years is a speedy full recovery,
2010 was an ordinary year to finish last... Mind you pick 4 was a better than our 24 when Gold Coast had already plundered:
1 David Swallow
2 Harley Bennell
3 Sam Day
7 Josh Caddy
9 Dion Prestia
10 Daniel Gorringe
11 Tom Lynch
13 Seb Tape
WCE also ended up with Cripps very cheaply too of course.

Players without pictures are never any good.

I saw awhile back that marto was also banned from BF, not sure if it was temporary or permanent.
Really? That is funny.

Hopefully not!

Re: Last win against WCE at Subi
Even West Coast Eagle members in their thousands remained at the game to clap Harves off the arena. That says a lot, because when West Coast look like they will lose, members start walking out very early and when they do lose the ground is empty very, very quickly.desertsaint wrote:great game that one - a real feel good moment - still is!matrix wrote:harveys 350th we got up too didnt we, over there?
Yes Harvey was a player respected by other supporters......... so proud he was one of ours!

Actually don't think we'll get done to badly. reckon West Coast will simply do what they need to do to win, don't want to risk any injuries especially when they have Hawthorn next week.magnifisaint wrote:We might get an all mighty shellacking today.

Probably be one big burst that will seal it for them.
Think of me long enough to make a memory.

Re: Last win against WCE at Subi
Amazing stuff. 10 of the same players and they went from last to 2nd in five years. I assume those 10 were all pretty young in 2010 - Priddis aside.perfectionist wrote:It was round 9 in 2010, when we won by 35 points. I want cyclonic wind and rain so scoring is almost impossible.
If we win tonight, I reckon we could ask the Hawks to erase a million dollars of our debt. Would almost hand then a ticket to the GF!
