After the votes were handed out after last week's game, I wondered what more Savage had to do to get a vote.
He played s great game, and the running down iof Stevie Johnson was the individual highlight of the season.
And yes it stuffed Geelong last night.

Re: I think Shane Savage broke Geelong...
I commented elsewhere this morning that Johnson should be finished after his lair display that showed disrespect for his opposition as well as his team mates when he lazily jogged towards goal. Savage closed on him like a stealth bomber. Watch the replay carefully and you will see Johnson panicked at the last moment just before Shane tackled him to the ground. Footsteps, did I hear?
The fact that he was left on the ground when he should have been dragged by Scott sent a massively wrong message to his team mates, ie, its OK to be a lair and not do the right thing by the team.
I picked the Cats last night but 15 minutes in it was obvious their season ended last Saturday night. Thanks to Steve Johnson.

Hope you're right. I'm not a big fan of Johnson's . Like a few other Geelong players he is way too arrogant.sunsaint wrote:Well I personally think he signed stevie J's ticket

I reckon that tackle effected that game. I reckon that tackle had nothing to do with their pathetic first half last night.
