Re: Zebras are happy
Just realised Willi lost. Sandy could/should finish 2nd.
Gee whizz. They should just pick best 22 from now on. A flag on offer.

They wont pick the best 22 if it means to many saints players. And also there will still be guys in the Saints side who have qualified you would think.

When was the last time our '2nds' have done well?
I think we got beaten in about 2000 by Essendon in the GF and milney kicked 4 for the Bombers so it ended up being a great loss.

Pretty sure the Dogs did well last year, perhaps an early indicator of their form the following year...

The rest of Australia can wander mask-free, socialise, eat out, no curfews, no zoning, no police rings of steel, no illogical inconsistent rules.

Wasn't Peter Russo was it??? Something in the back of my mind is telling me he was our reserves coach around that time. Maybe he coached earlier than that - if at all.plugger66 wrote:Freebird wrote:Who coached the 2's in 2000 plug?

Re: Zebras are happy
If he doesn't want to be an AFL player then we should delist him now. St Kilda pay his wages, he needs to do what's best for the club.saynta wrote:Sandy weren't too happy that Lee was sent off for early surgery. Neither was Lee.

And I would think surgery is also best for him unless he is delisted.

That's the trouble with social media. Something gets mentioned somewhere and people pick it up and run with it.plugger66 wrote:bergholt wrote:If he doesn't want to be an AFL player then we should delist him now. Tommy may well be disappointed that the surgery means he misses the chance of a flag with the blokes he's played all year with. Would be a natural reaction. Doesn't mean he doesn't accept surgery is the right option.
Does anyone really know whether him apparently being "not happy" is anything more than disappointment?

Wasn't Peter Russo. He was the reserves coach the year before. P66 was correct. It was Alastair Clarkson.mambo2706 wrote:Wasn't Peter Russo was it??? You can say that again. The Saints people on twitter who prance around as if they actually planted bugs in our list committee meetings are pretty lame.Dr Spaceman wrote:That's the trouble with social media. He did. He had the surgery, Doesn't mean he wasn't unhappy about it though. Some of the posters around here get uptight pretty quickly.bergholt wrote:If he doesn't want to be an AFL player then we should delist him now. Natural reaction from Lee as far as I can see.
