I think we can find that - nowadays multiple mid options who can go forward are required. We have none
Goddard in time I hope becomes good CHB - not sure on FB but mids and not cr@p ones are what we need.

Hawthorn will get picks. The most vital picks are the second, third and fourth rounders though. If we only rely and getting the first pick right its going to be a long process.
We need class in the midfield, and that's what the recruiters face. Armo is off the boil slightly, and Steven is having little impact, and yet again, we were killed by the the outside run of the opposition, but some of that boils down defensive tactics and setups, and our defensive work is below par- that's something the coach has to sort out.

Can you tell us the faults with defence? Its always the coach when we lose in your opinion. Im guessing it more that the players aren't good enough. Blaming the coach all the time is boring especially when you never explain what the actual faults are. And harsh on Armo and Steven. They have carried the midfield all year.
you dribbling the same shite week in week out and being a complete peanut
why dont YOU tell us what the problem is?
ask lenny see what he thinks
What a strange post. So you would rather a person having a go at the coach every week than a person sticking up for coach and if you could read you would see what I said our problem is. Then the old ask a player chestnut. Fair dinkum there are some strange people on here and their strange hatred of me causes then to write completely sill posts. Still no doubt you never attended. You confirm it daily. By the way did you work out the common sense about where Rice lives?

this is exactly right ... look at Carlton as a prime example.. you could say they got the first round picks right Murphy & Kennedy (05) Gibbs & Hampson (06) Kruzer (07) but their second and third round picks killed them
(05) Paul Bower Jake Edwards
(06) Shaun Grigg Mark Austin Clint Benjamin
(07) Steven Browne Dennis Armfield
only Grigg and Armfield became players ...where you get big improve is by getting the second and third round picks right pulling a quality player late in the draft is just as important as getting a good first round pick
