Doesn't seem that crazy an idea to me.
Put him on a two year contract.
Riewoldt in all likelyhood won't play every game next year so the young blokes will still get a chance but aren't required to carry too heavy a load.
Then when he and Roo are done we have some cash freeing up for our youngsters.

I like Schulz, I've often wished that Lyon had snapped him up when he left Richmond, I reckon we'd have a second Premiership now if someone had seen the diamond in the rough. Riewoldt & Schulz as the key forwards and Kosi as a 3rd forward/second Ruck. We may have gone back to back in 09/10.
Going after him now is interesting, if it's true, then I reckon the clubs sees our list as been ahead of schedule development wise, because recruiting Schulz would be about winning games next year more so than development.
