Forwards are f****** lazy.

Re: Saints vs Power match day thread
Im not sure about this. I need more time on this as I believe we have too many from "the kindergarten" playing at top level and our midfield bar Armo and Joey are not matching Port.mambo2706 wrote:+2Pwoit wrote:+1The Fireman wrote:like Goddard

Yes, agree with that.plugger66 wrote:Reckon Hickey has done more in this quarter than Longer in most games. Im biased. I will admit that.
We have to be a little realistic about where we are as a side at the moment. Besides the Hawks, Richmond and a weakened Essendon we have had an easy draw. The last six games were always going to be bad for us - no wins a possibility I'm afraid. Melbourne and Essendon both have two games each in which they would be clear favourites. Reckon we're a lock for bottom four.
Hopefully we win the last quarter, and if not, at least keep it to under 50 points.
Your friendly neighbourhood samurai.

Probably wouldn't have kicked accurately anyway based on the rest of the game today.CURLY wrote:No ones blaming umpires for the loss it would be nice if they where fair though. 21-14 with many missed again in our front half.

wake up you idiots.
Is this a joke?
Please tell me you're joking.
Booing. All booing is now bad. Is that it?
That way we can blame people who objected to the merciless booing of Adam Goodes.
You have to just shake your head and despair.
EDIT: sorry I realise now it's a joke! PC saint! 6 posts. Too obvious. Maybe I'll set up a fake BoganSainta account.
Difficult game to watch. We seem to be making it so difficult for ourselves. Port look unstoppable, how have they lost so much this year?

Bexause they don't play us every week. Anyway we were never a chance with the side we had in today. Very inexperienced but people have been asking for that. When it happens some of those same people wonder why we aren't much good.

Re: Saints vs Power match day thread
I wouldn't be surprised if Brisbane get a priority pick. Melbourne did last year. Why? Saints hadn't had any opportunity and were bottom so where was the consistency. I didn't support the priority pick for any of th 3 sides and still don't but again, I think Brisbane will be successful.8856brother wrote:We've been great all year. Thses days will happen with such a young team. Just enforces we still need to bring in talent, and pick 4 will be better than pick 6. Would be disapointing to lose a few draft spot because of a small percentage difference. No one will remember either of our Melbourne wins come draft day.
I don't worry about free kicks but do worry about bias in priority draft picks.

Yep should have been a free plus mc Cartin being held in the goal square. They run down the other end and score. 12 point turn around.CURLY wrote:Sinclair just thrown to the ground play on.

Re: Saints vs Power match day thread
Not me. I have been regularly pushing for increased Leadship on ground and despite not liking Schneiders goals missed I think we need him there for inexperienced player support. I am disappointed with Geary as he seems to suffer from lack of awareness at times and wont necessarily benefit the team in this regard. Brave but with poor disposal or low awareness costs turnovers.plugger66 wrote:Austinnn wrote:pc_saint wrote:with all this talk about booing Adam Goodes, why is it that we continually hear the Port Adelaide fans booing a Saints player when having a shot on goal.

Midfield hard nuts is what we need. We cant win centre clearances all our attacking starts from our back line. When we go forwaed with space we look better.

Umpire 24 gives Port the centre clearance after regaining his sight.

Re: Saints vs Power match day thread
Yep I am still one who believes the #1 draft selection should have been Petracca. No disrespect to Paddy but saw this as more valuable to the side now and a lower pick forward later would have benefitted from more midfield dominance and skill.Pwoit wrote:Midfield hard nuts is what we need. Little to no forward pressure is allowing the local side's crowd some happiness.
