D-Mac & Membrey IN
Dmac and Memberey In for this weekends game. Club has made it clear they want to get games into Daniel prior to the end of the year. They have earmarked the players with long term futures and will continue to put games into them regardless of VFL form That would spell trouble for others eg. Saunders.

I hope Acres falls into this group that they want to get games into - I've got a bad feeling that he might end up back in WA if we don't...
Re: D-Mac & Membrey IN
Acres is very much in the clubs longterm plans. He's signed up until the end of 2018.Sawf wrote:I hope Acres falls into this group that they want to get games into - I've got a bad feeling that he might end up back in WA if we don't...

I guess this is why I'm worried...

I'm assuming Cripps was also under contract, given the (terrible) trade?

He's doing well but he wanted to go home and it wasn't because of lack of opportunity.Sawf wrote:I guess this is why I'm worried...

The only one from the 2010 draft that has worked out.
Disappointing.
Holder of unacceptable views and other thought crimes.

There would be many like that who eventually stayed. He just didn't like it here and nothing was going to change his mind. Worth a punt at that pick though. Become a really good player.

I'm not sure he actually was worth a punt.plugger66 wrote:gringo wrote:A mate from WA said he had a girl friend back home and ran back as soon as he could. We didn't do the due diligence on him.

As gringo says, we simply didn't due our due diligence.
If what I've heard is correct, we hadn't even seen a picture of the kid before we called his name out!

He's signed for 4 years. Some take longer than others. Have a look at Joey Montagna. Had his share of games for Casey ScopionsSawf wrote:I hope Acres falls into this group that they want to get games into - I've got a bad feeling that he might end up back in WA if we don't...
