Re: Guess this weeks ins and outs
Wouldn't be surprised if Riewoldt was rested, and yeah I'd love to see Acres and Lee.
I'd also like to see Murdoch, McKenzie and Hickey, but I can think who deserves to be dropped.
Was Longer hurt last week?

Re: Guess this weeks ins and outs
In: Ross, Acres
Out: Schnieder, Gilbert (I still reckon he might struggle to come up from a sore groin)
No apologies in omitting Schnieder, he's got a role to play as mentor/on field coach and has played a lot of games this year. His output dropped just fractionally on the weekend and think an interstate trip to adelaide is a good chance to get that experience into a couple of players seen as having an important future role in our team going forward.
Perhaps a chance for Lonie to spend a week with the vest on and manage his workload.

Get the feeling they may take the opportunity to look at a couple different options.
Out
Roo, Lonie, Gilbert
In
Membrey, Saunders, Lee
Would love to see a Hickey for Longer switch but don't think it will happen.

Re: Guess this weeks ins and outs
With our recent good form, we no longer need our "best/most experienced" team in, from a supporter perspective. There are only 6 matches to go. This throws the team around a lot, but gives a few others a look in :
Out - Rooey, Gilbo, Lonie, Templeton, Schneider.
In : Membrey, Acres, Minchington, Lee, Mckenzie.

Re: Guess this weeks ins and outs
Out: Roo (inj) Gilbert(inj), Lonie(rest), maybe Armo (inj?), Templeton
In: Hickey, Acres, Lee, Ross, and Holmes elevated from rookie list.
Three ruckman is a the go- stretch Port A.

Re: Guess this weeks ins and outs
Holmes could be a surprise inclusion, even if only sitting in as an emergency on game day
Re: Guess this weeks ins and outs
If I was the media/PR people I'd be pushing to get him into the side. Not sure it would be the best result based purely on footy though.saynta wrote:Holmes could be a surprise inclusion, even if only sitting in as an emergency on game day

Re: Guess this weeks ins and outs
ST KILDA will be without skipper Nick Riewoldt for Sunday’s clash with Port Adelaide and gun midfielder David Armitage is in doubt. Sam Gilbert (groin) and young gun Jack Lonie (rested) also won’t play.
