Watched the replay. Horrendous conditions so credit to every single player out there. Sandy really worked so hard. Even guys like TDL and Saad who we describe as 'outside' were really putting their bodies in.
Coburg looked very ordinary so Sandy were a bit asleep in the first quarter - or just shell shocked by the conditions, but Sandy were all over them in the last.

Impressed with both Holmes and Hickey. Both worked so hard and tackled and got involved at ground level. So impressed with Hugh Goddard. That pack mark in the last. OMG. Absolute gun.
Murdoch has a big frame on him and is a loverly kick. Worth keeping. Siposs was Siposs. Kicked an amazing goal but can be so careless with his kicks. Nate Wright always puts in. Eli looks good and Payne looks ok too. Delaney, big and strong as youd expect. Be good if they hold on and finish 3rd.

They will go close to winning the flag.

They have some really good players, plus the St.Kilda guys that will qualify are far from Shabby.

Great side to watch too.

"Now the ball is loose, it gives St. Kilda a rough chance. Black. Good handpass. Voss. Schwarze now, the defender, can run and from a long way".....

Anyway think it seems a shame that now for the first time in as long as I can remember we seem to have gotten a great working relationship with Sandringham, are developing our players and theirs, working together, and getting results... we're going to stop this now, and pay bucket loads more for what we already have?

No not at all especially when I see Marksworth in the thirds.

just a few of the players
Brodie Murdoch

Brodie was best on ground. He played on the wing and through the midfield and after coming into the side late (for Cam Shenton who had a virus), it was a very impressive performance. He was very clean and his body work was first class.

Tom Lee

Tom unfortunately got a poke to the eye early and only played just over a half of footy. Before then he was solid in defence and even had a shot at goal when he pushed forward.

Arryn Siposs

Arryn didn’t get a lot of the ball playing forward, but then we moved him to the wing in the last quarter which played into his hands. His kicks were penetrating and he ended up having a pretty good day.

Jason Holmes

Jason won the hit outs and got us going with his ruck work. He kicked a crucial goal late which put the result beyond doubt. Overall Jason had another really impressive game.
