HOW can you not love Nick Riewoldt?

After spending most of the week — and what an emotionally-draining week it would’ve been — paying tribute to his late sister and promoting the new organisation named in her honour on every media platform possible, the Saints skipper produced yet another inspirational performance on the footy field.

The Saints skipper was at his stirring best against the Demons on Sunday. He was the No. 1 ranked played on the ground, finishing with four goals from 17 disposals, 10 marks and 133 SuperCoach points.

The will and hunger he showed to guide his team over the line was outstanding.

Even a final-term knee injury couldn’t stop Riewoldt, who pushed himself to his limits — again — by constantly leading and presenting up the ground.

He also donned those special orange boots, which have “fight like Maddie” sewn into them, as a tribute to his sister.

Brilliant, class act.
