Re: Did anyone else....
Maybe Roos can blame them for not hearing him again.
I wonder if he blames the players again for this loss.

What do you expect from Lyon's mentor/mate, to take the blame himself?Goose is king wrote:Maybe Roos can blame them for not hearing him again.

Re: Did anyone else....
i was there with my sons and my Melbourne supporter mate. When Steven was steaming towards the forward line in the last 30 seconds, my 5 year old screamed out "come oooooooon st kiiiiiiiiiilda!"
then me and the boys were jumping up and down hugging and high fiving all the other saints supporters in our area on level 3.

Roosey is another Malthouse. A has-been coach that lost it after some time out of the system.whiskers3614 wrote:What do you expect from Lyon's mentor/mate, to take the blame himself?Goose is king wrote:Maybe Roos can blame them for not hearing him again.

Re: Did anyone else....
Was at the game with my 11 year old boy. Other son and mum stayed home.(older boy spewing he didn't go now!) Little fella and I had the best day. Crowd were great, lots of laughs and howls and high fives all round and topped off with a massive hug at the end of the day from a very happy kid. Cant beat that! Go Saints!

Re: Did anyone else....
Worth watching a dozen times!
Two gut-busting sprints from Jack Steven in the very last minute of the game.
Plus Jack Lonie's deft gather and give, with a couple of shimmies.
Plus Weller's shepherd in the centre square.
And I think we see where Longer got his face cut open....nothing sinister.

Re: Did anyone else....
It was Jack Lonie who got the hard ball out to Jack Steven.............. credit where credit is due, too many have missed Lonie's great effort to start the chain off for the winning goal.saint-stu wrote:It was mostly Jacky Steven's work. But I was so relieved to see Joey with the ball running into goal.
