Re: Billings Out
Lost our 3 small forwards in one hit.
Big loss, really felt he was ready to have another bulldogs type game, but over 4 quarters.

Surely this is time to bring in the Minch.

Re: Billings Out
Such a shame, he's a great player to watch as is Sinclair.

Yep, I agree. I really hope he makes it hard for them too drop him with a good performance (or 2 or 3 etc).anthony_13 wrote:good for minch to have a go

Re: Billings Out
Not good to see Billings out, but it's good for Minch. to get a run.
I have a good regard for Minch's potential. He just needs a few opportunities. Play well mate

Re: Billings Out
Billings out with shin soreness apparently, but great to see Minchy get a run. Hope he makes the most of his opportunity and string a few games together.
Good to see Acres in the starting 22 again. Looks like Richo will keep him in the team permanently now. Hopefully he can stay injury free.

Re: Billings Out
It would be good for the Minch to get a full game so he can get into it but you can just see he will start as the sub. I hope he doesn't.

Has been named as a half forward, so it looks like he will get a full game.Jacks Back wrote:It would be good for the Minch to get a full game so he can get into it but you can just see he will start as the sub. I hope he doesn't.

They change all that around when they put the team sheet in but I hope you're right.bigballs wrote:Has been named as a half forward, so it looks like he will get a full game.Jacks Back wrote:It would be good for the Minch to get a full game so he can get into it but you can just see he will start as the sub. Good to see Dunstan back in though, isn't it? Bit of focused aggression. Weller too. Big fan.

I don't think billings being out is going to make a difference. Minch is pretty much the same player as billings.

Re: Billings Out
I know we want to win but Billings out wont hurt him. Hes still only a kid and has done well this year.
I assumed Roberton must have been sore when he was on the extended bench. He is clearly a starting 18 player and probably running 4th or 5th in the B&F.
Anyway these run of outs even things up. I have gone from certain Saints win to a 50:50.

Re: Billings Out
I thought they had very similar ability. Billings probably reads to play better and is more creative but his kicks are poor, will probably improve as he matures.magnifisaint wrote:Except he doesn't have the same abilityanthony_13 wrote:I don't think billings being out is going to make a difference.
