Re: Guess this weeks ins and outs
If we have hardly any injuries then imho we shouldn't really be playing any rookies (unless they have been outstanding). So Saad (and reluctantly even Schneider) shouldn't be in the team.#gosaintas wrote:Out

I like P66's changes and I will second them as I would like to see Acres and Minchy in the team.

I think Lee has to come in his form has been good and has looked to be doing what has been asked of him.

IN: Lee, Ray, Minch
Out: Roo, Shenton, Eli
Lonie had only mild concussion....I really hope he plays, we need him with his bro Sinclair out.

Re: Guess this weeks ins and outs
The clubs trying to give away a squillion tickets this week, therefore play the kids, interstate side,on our turf. Give us another look at Paddy,Goddard it's time,Acres can't do any more. Give us a look at them

Can't get a sense if Joey will play.
Shenton didn't lay 1 tackle which is bad enough but for a guy who plays defensive roles this shows a total lack of intent.
I actually thought he used the ball a little better but how much pressure is he really applying if you don't tackle?

Re: Guess this weeks ins and outs
Neither McCartin or Goddard played VFL last weekend, it's unlikely they'd come straight in to the senior side. Acres must come in though.jonesy wrote:The clubs trying to give away a squillion tickets this week, therefore play the kids, interstate side,on our turf. The goss is that he is not fit as he is not over his corkie yet.terry smith rules wrote:Not one mention of Geary , surely he comes in if fit
So that is why no one is picking him.

Would love to reward Curren and Lee's form but feel that they play roles we already seem to have covered.
Roberton and Dunstan just ahead of those two at this stage for mine So there's a lot of good competition for spots.

Geary is not in the side so can't be an out.Saint wagga wrote:Out: Rooey (inj), Lonie (inj), Geary (inj), Dunstan (omit), Shenton (omit)

Cannot see why Dunstan should be omitted -he had a quiet day last week but wasn't alone.
Been solid for most of the year and our midfield would be weakened without him.
People forget the huge gap between VFL and AFL and performances against teams like Frankston needs to be discounted to some extent
